dreams

Hello everybody!!! Sorry about the delay, had two exams this week. It's been a busy week
Today, I want to talk about dreams and other stuff.

From every infant to 100 year old adult, everyone dreams. People have nightmares, pleasant dreams, or can't even remember them. What does those dreams mean? How do you decipher them? Using a dream dictionary? Those things can be so vague and things that happen in your dream can have different meaning than other people's dream. Of course, they contain messages from your subconscious state . After an event has happened, do you say to to yourself "where have seen this before" or "haven't I done this before". You might have experienced deja vu and probably have dreamt it. With the world gone haywire, sleep is one way to escape it for 6-8 hours at night. Hopefully, during that time, you'll get good dreams and listen to what your brain is telling you. If it helps write it down and maybe you can figure out what it means.

Remember when radio play was good, when they played variety of songs. Now, after an hour, you'll hear the same songs, almost played in order. If I wanted that, I'll just put in a cd. How about some original songs? There are plenty of good songs out there but aren't getting enough radio play. Instead I hear the overplayed music of Rihanna, Katy Perry, and others. Not saying that they're bad songs but just overplayed so much that they become annoying. In Hindi, it alomst become the norm where the music is now mostly crap. Good songs are few and far between. There's a remix to every song, when the original is just average and the remix makes it worse. There's hope when the best music directors put their work out, but others just plain inconsistant in their works. I'll be waiting for better music to come.

Well, that's all for this post. I'll be posting soon.

Spirituality part 3..etc

Hello everybody!!! I'll talk about spirituality and the week that was.

I pretty much went over everything in my last two posts, but I wanted to talk about intuition. You don't need to be spiritual to have this because everyone has this ability. Intuition is listening to yourself. It's when you're making a decision, you go with your gut feeling. Most people don't know it's called intuition. An example of this, you're at a fork in the road, where do you go? Do you go right? Left? The decision you make at this time can change your life, do you do what others say or listen to yourself? Only you can make the decision for you. Listen to your gut, heart, head, or whatever you call it, just listen to it. You'll, usually, make the right decision, all you have to do is just trust it. The more your mind is clear, the better decisions you'll make.
The next post will be about dreams.

Since the last post, the stock market has spiraled down to number we haven't seen in five years. I thought the bailout was supposed to help us to get out of the situation we're in without further damage. Who knows when it'll bottom out. I hope, beyond hope, it's soon. There are too many people losing money because some idiots don't know how to run a company. Did anybody see the congressional hearings of the former AIG CEO's? What a joke that was, at least one of them is not taking the "golden parachute". What if the government bailed out the people instead of AIG, how much will each person get? Some individual actually did: anyone 18 or older will get 425,000 each, it comes out to 297,000 after taxes. I sure could use the money to pay for loans, my credit car bills, and other bills. Obviously, the government will never do that. They'll give to companies who, under bad leadership and greed, ran their company into the ground. Who's paying for that? The American people, of course.

In other news, the Cubs faltered and the Lions continue to suck. I had my playoff beard going, but since the Cubs lost I have shaved it off. I did lose to my sister in fantasy football by five points because AP and Brandon Marshall decide not to show up. Now I am in 7Th place with the record of 2-3. There's still time but it might be close this year.
I have two exams next week, so I'll be studying a lot.

I'll post a new entry, if I have time next week, otherwise it might be awhile.

Spirituality Part two and random thoughts

Hello, everybody!!! This week's post is early because there is no homework, quizzes or tests for me this week. I have so much to talk about. Let's continue about spirituality.

I decided to make this into multiple parts because it was getting too long and I had so much to say. As you read in my last post, how I moved from religion to spirituality. To comprehend what spirituality is takes a long time, but the first step is to find out who you are. To do that, I suggest you should meditate. All that's doing is clearing your mind and placing you in a peaceful state. Meditation is not complicated at all. Only things you need is a quiet place, a CD, CD player and about five minutes. To get yourself relaxed, play some peaceful music (wave crashing or other nature sounds) and let your mind go. Eventually, things become clear to you and you'll vibe off positive energy. So many people that have stress are giving off negative energy. You want feel good on most days, don't you? Why let them ruin your day? You'll realize what's (who) good for you and what (who) is not. Try to limit or get rid of the negative influences in your life and you'll see/feel the difference. It's hard, I know, I haven't been able to get rid of all the negative influences around me but I'm getting there. The more I try to understand myself, I feel like I have a better understanding of the world around me.

Part 3 will be in my next post. It's about intuition and abilities you didn't know you had.

Other news:

I got the result of my Calc quiz and got a 90% on it. I am so happy but it's just one quiz. Got to keep on trucking as they say.

The bailout I thought will be passed on Monday, it did not. The stocks tumbled 777 points and has been on a roller coaster since. Hopefully, this time it'll pass and economy can slowly recover from this mess. In my last post, I said gas price will drop to 3.50 and stop. It's already 3.00 in Missouri and 3.20 in K.C., so it might go much lower than I originally thought. There are some analysts that said a barrel of oil might drop to $60 (it's over a $100 now), but I don't know how much I believe in that.

Bad luck seems to follow me. If one good things happens, five bad things will happen. I call it Vishal's Law (like Murphy's Law). Last week, I got lucky by not missing the shuttle bus, even though I was late, but now our garage door broke and our water heater also broke. Only three more bad things need to happen now.

Speaking about bad luck, The Cubs and Lions always seem to disappoint me. Who knows if they'll ever win a championship in my lifetime. I just hoping for a win by any of those teams now. I play my sister in fantasy football. I am expected to win but if I don't, I'll never hear the end of it.

My next post should come very soon, so keeping on checking.
