"Yappy birthday"

Hey, it's been awhile since I wrote one. I had recently celebrated my birthday. I, personally, don't like celebrating my birthday cuz after you turn 21 it's downhill. As you know, I don't like gifts either but I do like money. I am a year older but am I wiser? Yes, I think so. There are so many twists and turns throughout life if you worry or get upset at everything, you'll go nuts. I have realized not to do that. I mean do you what you can do but don't worry about the stuff you can't control. Although, I hate still being blamed for s**t I didn't do.

TV sucks now-a-days. I mean the news feels like a rerun everyday. Someone decides to write a book and promote like crazy. Something happened where people are pissed or, unfortunately, died. The weather is nice or it sucks. Reality tv still rules and good scripted tv shows are hard to come by. You know how much I hate reality shows. Even sports are being redundant. That's what happens when you get older, I guess.
To pass the time, I try to workout, play some video games, run some errands, fix stuff and learn new stuff. When I was working out, I realized that television is evil, look what it's doing to this country. It's making people dumber and fatter.

Anyways, at this pace, I might go on forever, so I am going to stop here. Bye.

geez......

Hey. Is it jeez or geez? What is jeez or geez short for? Jesus? I have no idea.

I was listening to the radio and found out something had happened at Fort Hood. I heard about the tragedy. People were shocked something like could happen but I wasn't. It was only a matter of time before someone snapped. I am surprised that this guy didn't want to be there and nothing was done to accommodate him. Of course this is all rumor, but if it's true this is unbelievably sad. Now the Arab community is concerned of a backlash because of this guy. I hope, Americans, can see that this is the exception not the rule and learned from 9/11.

Watching the news over the weekend, a report on CNN got my attention. They were interviewing Muslim extremists (who look Caucasian and have no accent) , who are promoting ideas on the streets of NYC. They say that all Americans should die for their actions and people who are non-Muslims should also pay the price of death as well. Umm...you are in America. How is this gonna help you, telling people that they should kill themselves? Are you crazy? It's just scary that people are in this country thinks like this. Jeez, we are fighting terrorists overseas but there are lots of them here as well. If this was a different country they will get slapped but here it's okay to say stuff like that because of the first amendment. Don't you love America?

I could keep on going but I won't. Anyways, buh-bye.

Medicated...Part two

Before I get started, Brett Favre came back to Lambeau Field as the enemy. His team won beat the Packers whoop-dee-doo. Now the hype of that game is over, let's talk about important things in life like crime, weather, and health. Geez, the news here is weird.

Over- medication leads to many things. The medicine that you are taking to get rid of an ailment will fail to work since it (the body) has become adapted to it. An example of this is antibiotics. Doctors used to prescribe to their patients antibiotics for every type of flu or cold. Now, they are more careful but the damage is done. Instead of being effective (the antibiotics) the body will have an "eh" response or like "been there, done that". It's like empty threats to punish your kid for doing something wrong. After awhile, all effectiveness is gone. No wonder the drug companies are making a crap load of money. They are just trying to scare the people into taking medication that you probably don't need. People are so easily scared because they believe what anybody's says. Thank god for Fact Check. Anyways, why ruin a good thing? Take medicine when only absolutely necessary. Use common sense, eat well, give yourself time to relax (meditation or yoga) and exercise. That should take care of most the problems.

All of this can take care of the health care debate. It should have never gotten to this point but we got to move on and take care of ourselves. If we do that, everything will be easier.

P.S.: Don't listen what celebrities have to say about what works for them health wise. Everyone's different and their way is not the only way. There are way too many celebrities who have no medical degree giving advice to the public. At the end of the day, they're trying to make money for their book or their interests. So be careful, and do your own research.

'Til next time, bye.
