Cheaters....

Hey. What's going on, fellow humans? Other than the usual, nothing much is going on for me. My back is feeling much better and have started lifting again. I haven't reached my goal weight but I am very close. I still haven't seen what my body fat percentage is.
I can't believe Rihanna and Chris Brown reconciled. It just baffles my mind. I am very confused about that. Obama had another speech about how bad the economy is and stuff. I want action and results. He also said that the troops will be starting leave Iraq soon and should be gone by August 2010. Well, I hope so because I can't see another family grieving of a lost one.

Cheating has been in the news lately, so I want to talk about it. Why do people cheat? Is it make yourself feel better? To get an advantage over other people? I am basically talking about Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod). He's just an example, there are others too. A-Rod got caught taking PED's (Performance Enhancing Drugs) which are illegal in 2003. Nobody knew until recently. S.I. reported this and the media took a hold of the info. He apologized for testing positive and said "he was young and stupid". That had to be dumbest thing I have ever heard. He knew he was cheating and did it for supposedly two years prior to getting caught. He deceived everybody from the fans, friends, and his employer. There are no excuses. Is he going to give back the money he earned during that time or awards that he received? No. What message is that sending to his fans and kids? It's okay to cheat because you'll become famous and earn a lot of money? When you cheat you are not hurting yourself but others as well. We learn this in elementary school but does it work anymore? Is anybody listening? Cheating is a form a deception just like lying and doing something illegal. People lie on applications, to other people, and other things. Doing something illegal like smoking pot or speeding on the highway is a form a cheating. It's okay until you get caught, then there are consequences to pay. There are people who work hard and do the honest thing but that doesn't matter any more because there will always be people who lie and cheat their way to the top. Consequences for these actions aren't that harsh, if it was there wouldn't be that many cheaters. It is so easy to cheat, now, especially in the information age. You can decide to cheat or not ,but remember there are always consequences for your actions.
