Hey. What's going on? I have been sick for the past couple of days but I am a bit better today.
President Obama is going to Denmark trying to get the Olympics to his hometown of Chicago. I get it that he wants the Olympics in this country but we just had one in '96. Do we really need another one? There are so many other problems here and he has done nothing to solve them. Come on where the leader that this country voted for? Where's "yes, we can"? He hasn't accomplished anything, yet. The problem I think is that he becoming too much of celebrity. He's going to all these talk shows and stuff,]. People are already apprehensive about the health care reform because government gave so much to companies who messed up,help them out. He hasn't convinced enough people that health care reform is a good thing. Who knows? Calling Kanye a jackass isn't what I voted for. I want results and I want him stop all this "let's all get along" crap; in politics, that never works and you'll get eaten alive. That's exactly what the Republicans are doing. It has also divided the democratic party as well. All I am saying is be the leader of this country and get things done or you might be a worse president than Bush was. At least he got things done, albeit bad, but got things that his party wanted. Come on Obama, I am cheering for you but the hope you offered isn't the hope we are getting. The question is "can you do what you promised or will you be like every other politician and break promises? Only time will tell.
I am sick of everything this country has become. I never thought this country will divided like this. Ooh, there is a song about Obama or that he is now brain-washing kids. This has gotten out of control. This is completely insane. Where is common sense? Ooh, "the government is out to get me". They have other problems than you, come on, people. Oh no, we will be socialist. Hello, we are already there. Don't blame Obama for that, it started with Reaganomics. It's been progressing slowly while you sleep. So, wake up and smell the coffee.
I am going to watch "Capitalism: A love story" with an open mind. I might not agree what Michael Moore says but will try to get a better grasp of capitalism.
That's it for now. Peace.
